We were lucky enough to photograph what has got to be one of my all time favourite cars, Lee Steven’s 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale.
This car is a gorgeous example of such an iconic car. The paint is immaculate, the interior is clean yet retro, the wheels look like they’ve never been near a road. And in the setting of Headcorn Aerodrome, the car just popped.
When the care arrived, it was far better than what I expected, it gleamed even in the grey and overcast day that we were photographing on. The car gave that feeling of when I was younger, as if it was one of my wall posters that had just come to life.
The 2 litre engine started first time, every time, and gave that awesome classic engine sound, which sounded awesome echoing throughout the airplane hanger. So much so that within about half hour, we had accumulated a crowd of onlookers asking questions and taking pictures on their phones.
Overall, what a stunning photogenic machine.. thank you
