On Sunday 16th July 2017, I had the opportunity to attend SlammedUk’s Event – Gravity, and WOW, what a show! The rangeof cars at Gravity in attendance was unbelievable.
It was my first ever time attending Gravity and from what I saw, I’m definitely going to go again!
Next year, my aim is to have my car ready to display within the show, but if I’m not able to, I’m still going, no matter what.
As car person, I have already started getting to work on my car to hopefully be ready in time to apply for Gravity 2018.
Attending the show has certainly given me tons of ideas for what to do to my own car.
If you’re looking to attend next year’s show, I would highly recommend buying your tickets in advance attend to save you queuing up when you arrive as the queues can be very long.
The cars inside of the hall were the more concourse and immaculate show standard examples, with the outside cars being more of the enthusiast and club stands. This isn’t me saying one was better than the other, every car there had its own thing going for it.
I feel the only thing, in my opinion, that let the show down was there wasn’t much to buy from the stalls. Each stall appeared to be selling the same stickers or clothes, unfortunately there didn’t appear to be anywhere to buy accessories etc for owner’s cars. I believe that next year they would need a wider variety of merchandise, car parts and accessories within the stalls, with maybe something for spectators to watch and get involved in would be awesome. But hey, that’s just my opinion.
As you can see from the photos I took, the overall designs of the cars that were there were amazing and were to a very high standard.
I can only imagine what next year will be like, it’ll take some beating, that’s for sure. I know everyone starts working on their cars now for next year.
Well here’s to Gravity 2018, I really hope you enjoy the photos and I look forward to seeing everyone there next year, a great show you definitely do not want to miss out on.
